Are You Still There?

I've been neglecting this. I don't know why or what caused it but I have. Sorry to those who enjoy reading what I have to post. But if you've been following this blog since the start you'll know I do this once or twice a year. Not completely give up, but just about. I have been keeping up with my Tumblr page though so if you wanted to follow along there you are more than welcome to- pop me a note and I'll follow in return! I'll post a quick rundown of what I've been up to this summer, nothing exciting, haven't gone anywhere but time sure is passing quickly.

- I've been bitten hard by the vinyl bug; it used to be clothes over food now it's buying records over clothes over food. You'd think with my funds going towards music instead of food you'd think I'd lost weight, sadly doesn't seem so, maybe I should keep dancing around.

- my hair is finally, finally getting to what I want it to be; I'm surprised how quickly it's grown and grown out, a few more months and I'll be able to chop out the coloured ends and have just my natural colour (dark blonde for those curious- yes blonde, not light brown)

- all my travel plans for fall have fallen through; I missed out on a killer seat sale through Delta airlines to New York, $300 roundtrip and now I cannot justify spending $600-700 for the same flight. I also won't be heading to the UK as schedules are clashing. So, I thought of maybe buying an iPad or a new tv. BUT I might just keep saving and try to make it to the UK early next year.

- I'm still in love with men who have beards and awesome musical skills; I don't see that changing any time soon, especially since I've gotten into vinyl so much and City and Colour sound even more heavenly.

- tying in with the above, I have three/four concerts lined up; James Vincent McMorrow, Bon Iver, the Civil Wars and possibly, maybe, fingers crossed City and Colour. Oh my heart.

Oh I love City and Colour, but I have no one to go to the concert with...I might still go to the concert anyway if I can come up with the money before they sell out.
