One of my little changes for 2010 was that I decided I would read at least one book per month, preferably more if I can manage it. So far I've only read Dear John (for January) and I'm currently half way through Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin (for February). Next week I'll be picking up The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (for March) in mass market paperback size- I'm not a big fan of the larger books, they take up too much space in my purse. I also picked up Shutter Island last night which I will start once I have finished The Last Song. So far Something Borrowed has been pretty good. I found it hard to start, which is something I usually do with books, which is why I have so many 'just started' books. But I love books that are apart of a series, mostly because I can never get enough (a la the Twilight Saga, which I have read four times in just over a year). I know most of the books I read are not literary masterpieces but for a girl who had hardly ever picked up a book about a year and a half ago it's still exciting to crack open a fresh new novel.
