I don't really like American Idol. I haven't watched a full season since Kelly Clarkson won and even then I don't think that I watched the whole thing. I can't stand the auditions, all the terrible singers and the horrible comments from the judges murdering someone's hopes and dreams of making it big. I only like it when it gets to the Top 10. This season was no different I didn't pay attention to any of it and rolled my eyes every time people brought up the show. I do remember watching a bit of one episode and saw Danny Gokey sing. He looks like a boy I used to like. The glasses, the scruff and the not so perfect body- I wanted him to make it. Then I switched the channel and forgot about them all. Jenicka has been talking about Adam Lambert for weeks and weeks. I didn't know who he was but she seemed to like him a lot. Brenny talked about American Idol too. What is it with this show and corrupting my friends?

Last week, once it had gotten down to the final four, I decided to give it a go- there really wasn't anything else on so why not. Bam, I'm hooked. Danny, Adam and Kris are the best top three ever. Or well, from what I remember of past top three's. I have to be honest, I like them all. I like Kris's style of singing, I like Adam's fearlessness and I like Danny's quite shyness. They are all amazing and I'll honestly be happy no matter what boy wins. And I say that because all three of them will get a record deal- labels would be stupid not to sign them.

One thing I do have to admit is that Kris is killing me with his acoustic guitar and his piano skills. Hmm.. I wonder if he likes hockey.
