This Westcoaster has one of the best jobs around. She's got a super adorable co-host Dan Levy, insanely awesome red hair and she gets to interview today's (and yesterday's) hottest stars. The Aftershow is one of my favourite shows on tv to watch and I'd give anything to be one of The Aftershow Friends- sadly I'm in Vancouver and the MTV studios are in Toronto. My Girl Crush of the Week is the fashionable and beautiful Jessi Cruickshank.
This fiery red haired gal isn't all pop culture and bubble gum, she's a vegetarian and A Free The Children ambassador and last year travelled to India to bring awareness to farming communities that the government don't recognize and to help build schools for the less fortunate people of the country.
She's also a bit dorky (which I adore- hey we all are at least she can admit to it) which is part of her lovely charm, she gets all 12 year old girl when she interviews boys she had crushes on.. well when she was 12 (sorta). I'd kill to raid her closet- of course if I was as tiny as she is and Lauren Conrad named a dress from one of her lines after her- the Jessi Dress which sold out everywhere. dude - (well, not dude, but you know what I mean) - these little girl crush pieces are great.
They kind of remind me of obsessedtv.com - don't know if you're familiar w/it - but what i mean by it is that you do a nice little write up of the 'why' (i.e. why the individual is 'crush worthy') - what lacks is a nice little 120 second interview to let the person 'show' that they are crush worthy.
You're blog would blow up.
Serious. You already write well enough, I tend to think you could you're sassy enough to talk some of these girls into a 120second ichat interview (or skype if you're not a mac person [insert booo :) ] ).
At any rate, just an idea. I totally think you could rock it out though.

HAHAHAH Jessi, I love how she loves Twilight. And i do love her red hair! And all her dresses. I always thought she was chubby but I seen her at MTV and shes tiny!
you didn't "seen" her, you SAW her! (sorry...one of my pet peeves!) but yeah, Is she tall or short though? I think she looks long everywhere...legs,hair,neck,etc. So ,by "tiny" do you mean she is slim or small everywhere? thanks!
